Yesterday James Mc Creedy Bryan came to our market , his foundation was the charity we were raising money for . We sold all of our products to kids from prep to year 6. We made Magic wallets and scrunchies, themed money banks and bookmarks. We made $300.50. I was really proud of our group because I thought we would make that amount of money. We added up all of the money that each group in year 5 made and all together we raised $6000! That’s incredible for year 5!
I had a lot of fun making the products and I loved the magic wallets we mad and the scrunchies.
When we got busy it was hard because everyone wanted to know the price and one kid wanted a new magic wallet because he lost his but then he stole Well’s Magic wallet! When I started selling to the preps they weren’t really interested in our magic wallets and scrunchies but when the year 1 came we were starting to get busy, we sold a lot of the magic wallets. For future year 5 students, please don’t make stress balls because they pop straight away. I showed team work because Wells needed help and I helped him and I showed confidence when I was showing adults the products because some times I can get shy.
How was your market day ?
